How these A-list celebrities stay on top of their fitness

Stars… They’re just like us, right? Find out how these A-list celebrities keep in tip-top shape and get inspired to hit the gym

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter

Queen B, as her fans (the ‘Bey Hive’) lovingly call her, is in fantastic shape. The musical superstar incorporates weight training into most of her workouts – and it shows. It is also no surprise that she works out to her favourite music. “I do a lot of things with little weights—like, I’ll put on a song that I really like, and I’ll do [bicep curls with] 5-pound weights for the duration of the song and just try to burn out,” the entertainer told Self magazine.

Chrissy Teigen

Model, author and TV personality Chrissy Teigen prefers low-impact workouts focusing on body-weight resistance, like yoga and Pilates. And she loves to have fun with it by including (or trying to include) her and singer John Legend’s adorable little ones. “I do love yoga and Pilates now but the balance in it is nice, because it’s nice to be able to kill two birds by playing with my kids and getting that activity in, honestly. To me that’s more fun,” Chrissy told People magazine.

Michelle Obama

Although friends of the former American first lady nicknamed her ‘drillmaster’ because of her intense workout regimen, Michelle has recently taken a different approach to her fitness. Instead of doing hardcore boot camps, her focus is less on cardio and more on flexibility. “I am still physically active, and my goal now, instead of having ‘Michelle Obama arms,’ I just want to keep moving,” she told Harper’s Bazaar magazine.

Cindy Crawford

Squeezing in time for a workout can be challenging. That’s why supermodel and style icon Cindy Crawford wakes up early and jumps straight into her fitness routine. “I don’t want to miss having breakfast with my family, so I get my workout checked off the to-do list. I do 20 minutes of cardio, 10 on the Bellicon trampoline, and 10 running stairs,” she told Harper’s Bazaar magazine.
