Joburg pride
Known for: Celebrating diversity
Why attend: It’s more than a street parade; it’s a celebration of love and unity! Last year’s event attracted a record 40 000 people. It’s the largest annual pride event on the continent, committed to liberation, equal rights, acceptance and celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community for the past three decades. Mark your diary for 25 October 2025 and enjoy dazzling costumes and floats, and performances by DJs, drag artists and musicians. There will also be a Queer Met Gala on 18 October and the Secret Venue event on 11 October.

Spiga Ristorante
