Blogging sites Fashion Breed, aka Aqeelah Harron (36) and Baked the Blog, aka Aisha Baker (35) were among the creative trailblazers who started their careers taking pictures of their outfits, exploring ‘hidden gems’ within their areas, curating food pics to make anyone hungry and styling items seasonally in a realistic way for audiences to engage with. It was a new way of marketing that wasn’t seen as mainstream just yet.

Mums, influencers, wives, sisters, friends and business owners — in this ever-shifting world of influence and consumer culture, Aisha and Aqeelah carved out a distinct space that allowed them to create a thriving career from what they love: fashion and lifestyle content.

Aisha Baker has long been admired for her entrepreneurial spirit and ability to blend fashion and authenticity. Aqeelah Harron has been known for her keen eye and effortless elegance, building a reputation as a modest-dressing style-setting influencer that created her own path. Beyond their individual successes, it’s the friendship that formed between these two that caught our eye.
