UK soul singer, Sam Smith is coming to South Africa in April 2019 for his Thrill of it All tour! He’ll be performing in Johannesburg at the Ticketpro Dome on 13 and 14 April and in Cape Town at the Grand Arena, Grandwest on 16 and 17 April.

Tickets go on sale on Thursday 30 August at 09:00 through Big Concerts website and Discovery card holders get a 48 hour presale advantage from 28 August at 09:00.

The Thrill of it All album was released in November 2017 and has sold 2,376,000 copies worldwide as of July 2018. The album has hit singles like Too Good at Goodbyes and entered at the top of the Billboard 200 – making it Sam’s first chart-topper and highest opening sales in the United States.

Sam first appeared on the music scene with his feature on Disclosure’s breakthrough single, Latch in 2012. He has since gone on to release popular singles like Lay Me Down, Stay with Me and I’m Not the Only One. In 2015, he was nominated for 6 Grammy’s and won 4 of them: Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, Record of the Year and Song of the Year. He has won numerous international awards through the Brit Awards, the Billboard Awards and even the Golden Globes and Academy Awards for Best Original Song from the James Bond movie, Spectre. He’s been mentioned twice in the Guinness World Records for his achievements in the music industry.
