The Lenovo Ideapad C340 is one of the best value laptops we have seen this year, combining enough processing power with good features and decent build quality at an affordable price. We were impressed by the low profile (1.7cm thick) and the overall low weight (just 1.6kg) and the large full HD screen. The backlit keyboard is delightfully sprung; something of a Lenovo trademark on its better laptops and there’s a full set of ports including USB-C and HDMI Out. To top it all, it’s a convertible, which means the touchscreen flips round under the keyboard so you can use it like a tablet. However, for best results, you might want to add more RAM at time of purchase.
