From console games to drones, great-sounding equipment and little Google home assistants, these products are a sure win in amplifying that man cave. They add a great element of modern luxe to the room, while still fuelling your man’s hobbies and not letting them take over the whole house instead. When it comes to the sound, consider getting the speakers installed around the room for the best overall feel, and be sure to get a soundproof door for those loud Call of Duty moments. 

Comfort is Key 

Man cave comfort is paramount and will always reign supreme. Soft furnishes, comfy couches and a relaxing space for dads to relax and be guys when they are off duty is all they need. While a design aesthetic is necessary to at least make the space look cohesive, if that couch isn’t comfortable enough to sleep on, they probably don’t want it. Leather sofas are a great addition because of their durability over time, great quality aspect, as well as the tough and rugged look they give to a space. Leather changes with time, but in the best way possible, so keep this in mind when investing in a good couch. 

Smart Art 

Just because this room is dedicated to the guys, it does not mean art and decor would completely fall away. On the contrary, abstract art makes for a great statement in the room, and would help bring some colour to an otherwise dark and monotone space. Abstract art is also a great conversation piece if they are into it, otherwise just look at it as a great addition to tie the room together. With the statues or decor pieces, black and gold are great colours, including bold ornaments to reaffirm their presence. Dainty is not the look for this space, so think loud, proud and bold. 

Drink up! 

The bar, a significant meeting spot for gents, is a great addition to the man cave. Whether it is a full bar set-up with tools and equipment, or just a drinks trolley, this is probably a staple in all manly spaces. Depending on the space at hand, look at what can best be accommodated within the room comfortably without making it feel overwhelmed and cramped. This also gives the gents a chance to display their high-end bottles of liquor in a space that allows for them to be shown off.
