Here are some summer fashion trends we’re obsessed with at the moment.

1. Cutouts 

Cutouts are everywhere at the moment, whether it be by the shoulders, in the front or at the back. Cutouts just elevate an item of clothing that was once potentially plain and boring to something trendy and exciting. Paired with mom jeans or any pair of jeans that you’re comfortable in and some accessories, you will be the most fashionable person in town.

2. Prints and 90s glasses 

Gone are the days when you only looked put together in a solid colour. Print, like leopard print and zebra prints, are all the rage right now, and so are big bold colourful prints. A printed top, pair of trousers or accessories (like the 90s-inspired sunnies) are definite wins to have in your closet. 

3.  Spaghetti straps and cropped bomber (winter)

Spaghetti straps are so the 90s and give us major Rachel Green vibes. They can be super casual but also very fancy. Although we love the cutout trend, it’s nice to see something as simple as spaghetti straps are still in fashion. Cropped bomber jackets may be more of a winter trend, but there will be those cool nights where you might need one.

4.  Maxi dresses/ long skirts 

Maxi dresses and skirts can be dressed up or down. There is something so classy and elegant about these casual items. They are perfect for those who do not like showing off too much skin but also don’t want to be restricted to jeans or leggings on a hot day. 

5. Soft glam make-up 

Soft glam make-up is a minimalist make-up look that’s a bit more than ‘no-makeup make-up’, but nowhere near full glam. Even though it is not a fashion trend, like accessories, soft glam make-up can really complete your outfit and make you look sun-kissed, glowy and youthful, which is what you want for summer.
