Known for his natural ability to connect with audiences on local shows like Top Billing and Expresso, Ryle’s larger-than-life personality has made him a beloved household name.
1. His first cover appearance was for one of our very own, FitLife magazine.
“It’s exciting and an honour to be representing a cover for a magazine. It always shows you that you are hopefully inspiring and doing some good work and positive work. And in the field of health which I’m really passionate about, I can’t be more related,” he told Top Billing.

2. He started on The Expresso Morning Show as a fitness instructor for the first three weeks of lockdown, which quickly resulted in him standing in for some of the presenters. Long story short – he is now one of the most-loved TV and lifestyle personalities.
3. He’s a World Champion Lifesaver. He started training at the tender age of eight and worked as a lifeguard on weekends for years after that. For more than 20 years, Ryle’s been participating in lifesaving championships.

4. While training to stay in shape, he finds the balance between healthy eating, keeping fit and being active. “I think it’s more important that people start perceiving health and fitness as a lifestyle change. It’s not a ‘task’ or a goal-oriented event that has a stipulated timeline with a deadline.”
5. Ryle’s on-screen debut was in the Netflix drama-series Blood and Water. “It was my first role and actual attempt at drama and portraying a character. I learnt so much so quickly, and the experience of it all was unbelievable as I got to work with a highly talented cast and crew,” he shares with Man. “This experience stimulated me in a way that pushed me towards studying acting for the last year to really fine-tune my craft”, he continues.
