Faux Fur Fix

Over the years, fur has become quite a controversial wardrobe item. A few individuals choose to boycott the trend altogether, while a select few challenge the fashion choice by opting to wear faux/ fake fur.

One of Winter’s top trends, faux fur is that go-to statement item when seeking a one-stop showstopper wardrobe addition. Not only does the texture offer cozy comfort and trendy style status, but it has also been approved by ‘fur critics’ and activists. From awesome street-stylings to being showcased on runways, this ‘fur-tastic’ trend is literally taking over every fashion space and sphere. The textural piece comes in all sorts of different patterns and styles.  Faux fur is awesomely versatile and definitely a trend to rock throughout the colder seasons.

Designers have, conveniently, made faux fur look and feel just as luxurious as the real thing, and there’s so many diverse ways to wear the trend! Wear it as an accessory, in the form of a scarf or headpiece, or opt to don it as trimming on your coat or gilet. Going the faux way does not mean that your ensemble will look cheap. In contemporary society, there are types of faux fur that are almost identical to the real thing! And let’s not forget about how obsessed celebs have become with their furry items! Worn on the red carpet or on a night out – they are certainly in love with the trend! Let’s take a look at how our much-loved celebrities are getting their faux fur fix:
