Gert-Johan Coetzee has gone for platinum (never mind gold!) with his latest 2017 Spring/Summer collection. Proudly dedicated to the Reach for a Dream Foundation, this year’s Spring/Summer collection has reignited the designers fashion philosophy: “fashion with a cause”. When one thinks of children, one comes across thoughts of playfulness, innocence and wonder, which is exactly what this particular collection signifies. The standout pink designs are to die for, and presents the perfect colour palette for spring – since pink has been dominating all year anyway!

The collection celebrates playful innocence with its exuberant palette, dynamic patterns and uniquely South African embroidered accents. The lightweight fabrics drape the female silhouette flawlessly and enhances curves well. Gert also alludes to blossoming and the spring season with his incorporation of floral elements.

The combination of soft chiffon, lace appliques and tiny crystals makes for an overall elegant, princess-like gown.
