TxC To Take The World Stage At The 2022 Fifa World Cup

One of South Africa’s most prolific and popular music duos, TxC, have been signed to the international cast of Budweiser. TxC will attend the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar from 30th November to 3rd December, and are set to perform on stage with Lil’ Baby on the night of his 27th birthday on 3rd December.

Budweiser is inspired by TxC for their ability to shift culture, but also break barriers and help shape Amapiano culture in SA and around the world.  The duo will represent SA in a line-up that includes 250 of the world’s most eclectic and artistic creators, originators, and innovators – all in the name of expression and collaboration at BUDX Doha.

Through this new partnership, the brand wants the Budweiser Family to dare to dream, and believe ‘The World Is Yours To Take’.

“We’re delighted to have signed TxC. They have a unique style and edge, and will share a powerful music movement in Doha. Tarryn and Clairise are known for their influence and independent attitude, especially being Mzansi’s favourite female DJ duo, and we’re looking forward to many collaborations,’ said Thomas Lawrence, High-End Marketing Manager, Budweiser South Africa.

‘We are excited to have the opportunity to show the vibrancy of Amapiano at the world’s biggest sporting event! We are passionate about our hustle and are excited to bring the spirit of our generation to the world stage. It is also such a privilege to be connecting with other Global artists and creators in Doha,’ said TxC.

Following their debut in 2021, TxC swiftly cemented a reputation for dropping the coolest Amapiano sets, combining an awesome playlist with highly charged dance moves that have impacted dance culture worldwide.

A few of this duo’s most epic performances include:

– Cotton Fest in Johannesburg

– Manchester’s largest Afrofusion fest, Coko Festival, alongside Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage and Fireboy

– Fierce Piano World Tour in Mozambique, the UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Portugal, and Belgium
