Maurice Paige Mania

He is Isidingo’s former fan favourite, the newest addition to kykNet’s Afrikaans soap Suidooster and boy does he know how to pack a punch. Maurice Paige is one of South Africa’s most loved (and hated) on screen entertainers, but he’s also known to take part in brilliant stage productions. He recently took part in the Tropika Island of Treasure – Season 7 (Seychelles) competiton, where he and feisty partner Michelle Allen, unfortunately came in at third place, but gave a seriously entertaining fight. A local hunk and fitness fanatic, Maurice keeps us glued to our screens, and we just can’t help admiring his cool Instagram feed too.

Maurice posts a few words wisdom daily on his Instagram feed and always remains strong in his faith. This is why he is able to do what he does best and remain humble.

His most memorable TV role was on SABC’s Isidingo, where he played the cheeky and ambitious Coloured guy from the Cape, trying to make things happen for himself in a small town. He was a much-loved cast member and has developed bonds in the industry that remain strong and unhindered.

In his latest flick, Pop, Lock ‘n Roll, Maurice plays Raps McKeiser, ‘an ambitious street style, hip hop dancer from a poor neighborhood who believes that money is everything.’ As the story unfolds, he falls in love with a gangster’s wife – which leads to one hell of a risky romance. Check it out in local cinemas right now!

An avid gym-goer and health enthusiast, Maurice has been known to invest much of his time and efforts in bodybuilding. He has even won medals, taking part in various competitive events, such as the South African section of Muscle Mulisha Grand Prix bodybuilding competition and the the annual Arnold Classic Europe, Ace body building contest in Barcelona.
