WALLPAPER

•Wallpaper glue R100/100 ml

• Robin Sprong wallpaper R515/m² at home

•Paintbrush

TIP: Never try to hang wallpaper alone. You need two sets of hands.

Step 1

Apply glue to one area at a time, starting at the top of the wall. Let dry for 5 minutes.

Step 2

Apply the paper, starting at the top, pressing and smoothing until you reach the bottom

INTERLOCKING FLOORING

• Interlocking flooring R180/pack of 4 (covers 1 m²) at home

• Mallet

• NT-cutter

Step 1

Lay out the flooring tiles where you would like them to go, to check how they will fit.

Step 2

One by one, hammer the tiles into each other. Use an NT-cutter to remove the extra clips at the edges for a smooth finish against the wall.

STENCILLED FLOORING

• Sugar soap R38

• Chalk paint R200/L 

• Tile sealant R260/L at home

• Sponge 

• Paper towels 

• Masking tape 

• Paintbrush

Step 1

Wash your tiles with sugar soap and a sponge, and dry off with paper towels.

Step 2

Carefully place your stencil in the centre of a tile. Using some masking tape to hold it in place.

Step 3

Start painting. Do not press too hard or use too much paint, otherwise the paint will seep underneath the stencil and smudge.

Step 4

Leave the paint to dry, then apply a sealant over the tiles to prevent chipping. 

CORK WALL

•Get Corked cork sheets R160/sheet (915 × 600 × 6 mm)

•Contact adhesive glue R430/5 L at home

Step 1

Using the paintbrush, apply the glue to the back of the cork sheets one by one. 

Step 2

Stick the cork sheets to your wall, applying some pressure as you go along, to make sure they stay in place.
