Monochromatic look

The monochromatic make-up look is having a moment… and we are here for it! “It’s one mood with a subtle shift in tones between the lip and the face,” says make-up artist Tasha Reiko Brown. Not only is this look both glamorous and easy to achieve, but you only need a single colour. Gone are the days of using only one shade in an entire eyeshadow palette! Plus, you could easily achieve this versatile look in 10 minutes!

Ombré lips

Hey, ’90s kids, this throwback lip trend is for you. The ombré lip is a modernised version of the ’90s overdrawn lip and is one of the easiest ways to make your pout appear fuller. With more than 1.7 billion views on TikTok – it seems like everyone wants to try this nostalgic two-toned lip look.

Balletcore make-up

Fresh-faced with a satin finish, this romantic look is a trend we can all get on board with. “I interpret it as a highly polished, ultra-chic yet extremely natural look,” says Chanel make-up artist Kay Montano.

“It’s more about hair being pulled back and very tidy, and a fresh face where makeup is minimal and very singular. Skincare-meets-cosmetic products work well here – think sheer, polished skin, using products with subtle luminosity. Then, all you need is mascara on your top lashes and lots of brow gel to sweep eyebrows up.”
