It seems like every few weeks there’s a new make-up trend that will grab everyone’s attention. Some of them are actually pretty epic which many people use regularly; others, on the other hand, are just plain crazy, like putting foundation on with the back of your shoe!

1. Using a quartz roller to apply foundation 

It’s very clear that this hack works! Many people have said their skin has never looked better! But quartz rollers can be quite expensive, and if you’re buying or have one you’re probably going to prioritize it for your skin, not your foundation. Also, the regular way of applying foundation such as with a brush or sponge works perfectly already, so there’s no need for something new if you had asked us.

2. Jumbo white eyeliner as a highlighter 

This one also technically works, but in our opinion, it’s just easier to use a regular highlighter because it dubs as eyeshadow, too, which is a win in our books. Let’s face it: A jumbo white eyeliner is probably not going to give you as many uses in any case.

3. Using an eyelash curler for the perfect cut crease 

Believe it or not but this one works and could save you a lot of time, but it might get a bit messy, and might not be the most sanitary either. 

4. Using string or dental floss for eyeliner 

Getting a perfect winged eye is not an easy task, we know! And using floss or string was the last thing we thought of grabbing when needing to perfect the look.

5. Crazy nails 

We’re all for creativity, don’t get us wrong, but these nails are just not practical at all. How do you perform basic tasks like brushing your teeth?! And even if they’re on for a bit they can still do a lot of unnecessary damage to your nails. But, hey, you never know when we might do something crazy like this!
